Project Duties of Resource:
• Review the terms of the project in consultation with the Governance Committee; Review and confirm the project plan and gain Project Sponsor approval;
• Work collaboratively with 3rd party vendors and other partners;
• Ensure the project is completed in accordance with the standards, processes and documentation which follows
• PMI standards;
• Produce deliverables on time, within budget and to specification;
• Timely communications regarding project progress, issues and concerns to the team, project sponsors and relevant stakeholders;
• Monitoring quality of project deliverables and ensuring project objectives are met;
• Developing project change requests (scope, time, cost) and developing financial implications with project sponsor;
• Developing and monitoring risks in a formal method in consultation with ministry Enterprise Risk Management resources;
• Team health – ensuring conflict is handled, members receive recognition, etc;
• Identify changes to resource requirements.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification; Minimum of 5 years experience in project management;
• At least one successful, significant project valued at more than $1M;
• A demonstrated ability of strong facilitation skills for conducting presentations, leading meetings, and communicating complex and highly technical concepts to technical and non-technical people (written and oral);
• Demonstrated experience of satisfactory completion of one or more projects that involve implementing major changes to business processes and systems;

Proven record of achievement as a Project Manager with excellent skills in managing systems development, estimating, planning, scheduling project activities and team resources and understanding business priorities;
Ability to recognize and resolve issues early and thoroughly. Ability to solve problems in integrated environments;
An ability to communicate effectively (oral, written and active listening) with the team, senior management,
stakeholders, and customers (communication and influence); Experience in transitioning project deliverables to operations;
Demonstrated ability to prepare project documents (e.g. statements of work, project charters, progress reports,
budget analysis, business cases, proposals, functional requirements, strategies, training manuals, business/technical architecture specifications, feasibility study, detailed budget submissions, etc.);
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
An ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork in an environment with internal and external stakeholders.
