Grocery Supervisor

Job Description

New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Grocery Supervisor at our Trader Ridge Food Store in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you’ll do:

• Provide an excellent customer experience


• Provide supervision to Team Members in the department as necessary


• Ensure that all grocery products are properly displayed, stocked and labeled


• Ensure all Team Members perform their duties in compliance with established health and safety regulations


• Ensure all products are properly stored and rotated in the cooler and retail area


• Assist in receiving incoming products and inspect for freshness and quality


• Other duties, as assigned

Who you are:

• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills


• Enthusiastic approach to work with strong organizational skills


• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred


• Must be responsible and possess great leadership skills


• Retail Supervisory experience is an asset


• Practical working knowledge of daily retail operations


• Able to work independently and in a team


• Available to work a flexible schedule


• Some heavy lifting may be required, up to 50lbs
