What you will do:
Assist arborists with tree removals, pruning, and other arboricultural tasks
Prepare and clean up job sites before and after work
Drag and chip brush, operate ground equipment (chipper, chainsaw, etc.)
Help load and unload equipment and materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Provide support to the crew to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or tree care
Experience in tree care, arboriculture, landscaping, forestry, construction, excavation, farming, or other physically demanding outdoor work
Experience using chainsaws, wood chippers, brush equipment, power tools, or hand tools safely is an asset
A valid G-Class driver’s license (DZ license is an asset)
Clean driver’s abstract
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
Working at Heights Certification (or willing to obtain)
Strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to learn and take direction
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
Safety-conscious with a positive attitude
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Experience in landscaping, construction, or tree care is an asset
Interest in pursuing a career in arboriculture
