Job Description - GTA Business Development Director

Business Development Director – B2B Sales Leadership


Location: GTA (Hybrid / Field-Based)


Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead a team of sales representatives and drive performance through coaching, accountability, and execution.


This role is focused on managing people and results—not individual sales. The right candidate will have a strong track record of leading sales teams, improving performance, and operating in a results-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives

  • Drive team performance against revenue and activity targets

  • Develop and implement coaching and accountability frameworks

  • Monitor pipelines, forecasts, and KPIs

  • Support team members in improving close rates and execution

  • Work cross-functionally to support overall business development strategy


Requirements



  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing a sales team

  • Experience leading B2B sales teams

  • Proven ability to improve team performance through coaching and leadership

  • Strong communication, accountability, and leadership skills

  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment


Candidates with automotive industry experience are considered an asset but not required.


Compensation



  • First-Year Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 (base + commission)

  • Mileage reimbursement and/or car allowance

  • Comprehensive benefits package
