About American Kids Sports Center Founded in 1984 as American Academy of Gymnastics, American Kids Sports Center (AKSC) has grown into one of California's most unique and successful kids sports center.  Under the direction of owners Mike & Sheri Williams, AKSC has established an organization that sees its purpose as helping children to learn strong VALUES with which they will set worthy GOALS and for which we must train them in the SKILLS needed to achieve those goals.  Sport training is the tool we use to achieve that purpose. About the role We are looking to hire an energetic individual to join our gymnastics staff. You will be responsible for coaching children while providing a safe and fun environment. If you are passionate about working with children we encourage you to apply! No prior experience needed, we provide in house training. What you'll do Must be dependable  Provide excellent customer service  Foster good values in students, like hard work, determination, goal setting, teamwork, etc. Work with other staff members to solve problems  Portray an excellent reflection of the AKSC brand  Must be organized and reliable to track student progress and communicate that progress to their parents Must have good communication skills with Gymnastics Director and other staff members, as well as students and parents. Must be computer literate to use some of the softwares AKSC utilizes Teach Gymnastics skills, as a way to help students find success and meet their goals Must complete all mandatory trainings and be willing to grow as an individual to benefit the program Qualifications Energetic personality Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds to safely spot gymnasts and move equipment Requires to be on your feet while being active for 3+ hours a day Part time hours, evenings and weekends Must be available to work between the 2 locations Describe the experience and attributes of the ideal candidate
