Wages: $21.00-$23.00

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Supervisor to plan and organize weekly work schedules.
Guide and train greenhouse staff on job duties and safe work practices.
Help assign daily tasks and make sure everyone understands what needs to be done.
Motivate your team to meet daily and hourly production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
Learn to safely operate motorized equipment as required.
Communicate with the Supervisor to solve any work or task-related issues.
Take an active role in production work, including:
Sticking cuttings, seeding, planting, and transplanting
Spacing and moving plants
Pinching, picking orders, loading trucks, and preparing for delivery
Counting inventory and preparing materials for production
General cleaning, maintenance, and greenhouse upkeep
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable.
Physically capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Detail-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
Able to work in all weather conditions.
Basic plant knowledge is an asset, but not required.
Previous production or greenhouse experience preferred.
Basic computer skills (additional experience is an asset).
