Job Description - Head Chef

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, managing employees, hiring and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests.


Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking activities


- Ability to delegate to staff


- Create with team weekly fresh sheet
- Develop and create innovative menu items while maintaining consistency and quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and budget control for the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Monitor kitchen operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences to customers


Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Creative flair in menu development and presentation
- Experience in maintaining cost-effective kitchen operations while delivering quality dishes

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
