Phlair unleashes CO2's potential through breakthrough innovation. We rapidly deploy Direct Air Capture technology, facilitating the removal and reuse of CO2 at scale. 
 
For decades, fossil fuels served as the backbone and feedstock of our economy – with the downside of polluting our atmosphere. We invert this equation by developing a cost-efficient and scalable electrochemical Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. We have cracked the nut here by developing a breakthrough hydrolizer for acid/base regeneration, allowing us to capture CO2 from ambient air for either permanent storage or as a precursor for CO2-negative chemicals. For this, we collaborate with leading customers like Frontier Climate, Stripe, Shopify and Klarna.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Projects to lead the execution of Project Dawn, our flagship initiative to build large-scale Direct Air Capture (DAC) facilities. If you spike whilst delivering projects on time and within budget all whilst chasing deadlines and increasing team productivity you’re great for this role and you’ll enjoy the journey ahead!  
 

• Ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
• Oversee contract management, lead multidisciplinary teams, and drive the realization of our ambitious commercial DAC project
• Manage regulatory bodies and navigate permitting processes
• Analyze project KPIs and optimize processes based on metrics

 
Your targets are an important roadmap, but nothing is set in stone in the startup world.Hard skills that are necessary

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial or related field), with a strong affinity for business management
• You have a track record in delivering large (renewable) infrastructure projects End-to-end, preferably  with high responsibilities
• You have a proven track record of managing multimillion-dollar capital projects, including contract negotiation and execution

Soft skills that are necessary

• You have a results-driven mindset, with a passion for delivering projects on time
• You have high energy and persistence in following up with team members and contractors
• You are able to clearly articulate project objectives, expectations, and updates and negotiate with stakeholders

• Familiarity with digital project management platforms and reporting dashboards
• Proven track record for repeatedly going the extra mile

We are the first EU and German DAC company to be selected by Frontier Climate. Frontier is a buyers' club for high quality carbon removal credits, i.e. a certificate validating the permanent (for >1,000 years!) and additional (to natural processes) removal of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere, thereby curbing global warming.
