Location: Kingston, ON

Pay & Schedule: $22.61/hour | Full-Time | Continental Rotation: 0800-2000 / 2000-0800

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional, visible, and reassuring security presence.
• Greet, assist, and direct visitors, staff, and patients courteously.
• Protect clients, property, and assets while upholding hospital policy and safety standards.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure a safe environment.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, providing detailed reports.
• Perform patient watches, access control, parking enforcement, and monthly safety inspections.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency responders as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB-approved).
• Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double dose).
• A copy of immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, TB Skin Test – Step 1 & 2).
• Full-time availability with a minimum 6-month commitment.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• 6+ months security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare).
• Bilingualism (English/French) an asset.
• 6+ months customer service experience.
• Ability to provide Stay Safe certification or willingness to complete it (Paladin covers costs).

Note: The Stay Safe certification is a pre-requisite and not paid, but Paladin Security covers all associated costs with a 6-month availability commitment.
