Paladin Security is Hiring a Healthcare Site Supervisor!

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $24.50/hour

Position Summary

As a Healthcare Site Supervisor with Paladin Security, you will oversee all site security operations and act as the frontline representative of the Paladin Management Team. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with client policies, supporting officer development, and maintaining strong site operations in a healthcare environment.

You will manage day-to-day administrative and operational tasks, investigate issues, and work closely with the Client Service Manager (CSM) to ensure the client’s needs are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all security operations at the assigned healthcare site.
• Run shifts effectively, ensuring daily paperwork and reports are completed accurately.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, taking command and ensuring proper reporting.
• Ensure incident reports are complete, accurate, and submitted promptly.
• Conduct audits, quality assurance checks, and maintain strong relationships with site staff.
• Supervise scheduling, payroll entry, and training requirements for officers.
• Investigate complaints/issues and escalate findings to the Paladin Management Team.
• Oversee compliance with key control, passes, occupational health and safety policies.
• Mentor and evaluate security staff, issuing accolades or disciplinary actions as required.
• Conduct employee evaluations, manage vacation requests, and maintain team morale.
• Regularly report to and collaborate with the CSM to ensure smooth operations.

Must-Have Requirements

• Reside in Halifax, NS
• Previous Supervisory or Management experience
• Standard First Aid Certification
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Microsoft Office experience; ability to learn new software
• Ability to obtain a Nova Scotia Security License
• Comfortable working in a healthcare setting
