Job Description - Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Fly in Fly Out)

Overview

We are seeking heavy duty mechanics for fly in fly out opportunities in Northern Ontario.

Candidates will work a 14 on 14 off schedule and be provided flights to site with room and board provided

while on schedule.

The successful candidate must be a 421A certified heavy duty mechanic or red seal heavy equipment technician. Preferably candidate will have experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, heavy equipment used in underground mining.

Compensation structure is hourly with a per diem, paid travel time, and built in overtime during rotations.

On target earnings approximately $170,000 per year CDN for candidates meeting all requirements and working all rotations for year.

Requirements

-421A certified in Ontario or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician

-Able to work at mine sites in camp remotely on a rotational schedule

-Fluent in verbal and written English

-Legally entitled to work permanently for any employer in Canada

-Experience maintaining, repairing, diagnosing underground mining equipment is an asset

-Currently residing in Canada

-Able to pass required criminal background check and employment medical
