This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and training, with exposure to heavy equipment operation.

THE ROLE: LOCATION & SHIFT INFORMATION

• Location: Must be willing to travel for work throughout the Atlantic region.

• Shift Details: Open to working various shifts, including weekends, afternoons, nights, and extended hours to meet client needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Opportunity to Operate Heavy Equipment: Gain experience operating heavy equipment such as a backhoe, excavator, or skid steer.

• Completes set-up and operation of various pumps, hoses, tanks, and filtration units.

• Assists with offloading/loading tanker trucks under the direction of the Lead Operator.

• Performs essential physical tasks and duties, including loading/unloading, shoveling, and moving equipment.

• Actively participate as a team member in the operation of the project.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

• Driver’s License: Minimum Class 5 Driver’s License required; Class 3 considered a strong asset.

• Basic mechanical aptitude required.

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude to represent the GFL brand effectively.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (e.g., industrial labor, heavy equipment operation) is an asset.
