EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

Landmark Solutions Ltd. (Landmark) has immediate openings for experienced Equipment Operators. The ideal candidate will be safety conscious with proven proficiency in the operation of excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment. This is a full-time position supporting construction projects located throughout British Columbia and Jasper, Alberta.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position is an integral part of the Landmark team, with the opportunity for the individual to grow within our Construction division and other sectors of the Landmark business. Equipment Operators work with safety as a top priority while ensuring adherence to Landmark safety policies, procedures, and practices. The Operator will perform tasks such as digging, grading, leveling, and moving materials. This position is a field-based position that has the potential for out of town and camp work.

 SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Commitment to safety


• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record and the confidence to drive safely in a variety of road conditions


• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions


• Lifting up to 50 lbs.


• Good understanding of construction principles and procedures


• Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient operation


• Conduct routine inspections on equipment


• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness


• Must be able to work with minimal supervision


• Communicate effectively with Managers, Supervisors, and other team members.


• Other combinations of experience and education will be considered
