Position Summary

Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to break-up concrete to accommodate the crusher, load prepped material into the crushers and perform other work as required to support operations.

Location may vary depending on the business demands. Therefore, selected candidates must maintain a current and valid Ontario Driver License and be able to independently commute throughout the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep crusher fully loaded and free from ground debris.


• Stockpile finished product as needed.


• May need to assist in maintenance, when required.


• Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures.


• Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Education and Experience

• Completion of secondary school is an asset.


• Valid ‘G’ license required.


• Ontario Heavy Equipment Operator license an asset


• Experience with heavy equipment such as Cat 980/988 Rubber Tire Loader, Cat 336 Excavator, Cat 226 Skid Steer.


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy machinery operation in an aggregate or mining environment.

Working Conditions 

• Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, additional hours including occasional weekends when required ;


• Significant physical effort. Significant exposure to environmental conditions;

• For this position the Salary range: $32.73/ Hour.
