Heavy General Labourer

We are looking for candidates to work for a leading manufacturer of concrete materials dedicated to delivering high-quality products to their customers. We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Heavy General Labourers.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in a manufacturing or construction setting. Additionally, they must be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a noisy, dirty and dusty production environment. You need to be ready and willing to roll your sleeves up and help out your team!

There are 2 shifts available: 3:30 AM to 4PM and 4PM to 3:30 PM, Over time and break hours are followed according to standards.
Wage: $22.50/hr to $23/hr
Setting: Loud, concrete production facility

Please be aware that this location is situated in Balzac, Alberta, and unfortunately, public transportation is not available. Therefore, candidates interested in this opportunity must possess a dependable vehicle for transportation.

Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit. We do not provide LMIA or do sponsorships.

Responsibilities
- Operate and warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to the supervisor
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals


Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate basic machinery and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs without issues)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary
- Candidates must have their own transportation as the location is not transit-accessible
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit. We DO NOT provide LMIA or do sponsorships
