About the role: 

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the full-time, Seasonal Braidwood Tavern / Sidecut Steakhouse Host.

The Host/Hostess is the first interaction for guests in our Restaurants and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

Hourly wage: $19.00 - $20.50

What you will do:

Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers.

Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations for the table sections' setup.

Ensure the cleanliness of each section of the restaurants, make necessary improvements, and check each table before opening to ensure it is properly set up.

Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information.

What you bring:

One to two years previous experience in a Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset.

Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.

Strong communication skills.

Administrative skills are beneficial.

Working knowledge of open table is beneficial.

Strong command of the English language.

Excellent commitment to service and teamwork.

Must have a current Serving it Right certificate.

Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our service staff to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
