About Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom

Blachford Lodge by Arctic Kingdom is a remote wilderness lodge located in the Northwest Territories, offering unforgettable northern experiences in one of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes. Accessible only by air, the lodge operates year-round and combines exceptional hospitality with authentic northern adventure in a unique off-grid environment.

We are looking for hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

Housekeeping & Guest Room Cleaning

• Perform daily housekeeping in guest rooms, cabins, bathrooms, shower facilities, and common areas


• Complete full room and cabin turnovers on guest arrival and departure days


• Change linens, replace towels, replenish amenities, and ensure guest spaces are consistently maintained to a high standard


• Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the lodge property


• Identify and report maintenance concerns or damaged items

Laundry Operations

• Wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute linens, towels, robes, and staff laundry


• Maintain organized and clean laundry facilities and storage areas


• Assist with inventory monitoring for housekeeping supplies and linens

Public Area Cleaning

• Maintain cleanliness of all shared lodge spaces, including lounges, hallways, dining spaces, and staff areas


• Support deep cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning initiatives as required

Guest Service Support

• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner


• Support the overall guest experience through attention to detail and responsiveness


• Occasionally assist other operational teams during peak periods or operational needs

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, lodge, camp, or hospitality experience is an asset


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Positive attitude and strong work ethic


• Comfortable working in a remote, off-grid environment


• Ability to adapt to changing operational needs


• Strong communication and teamwork skills
