Job Description

ARAMARK is currently seeking Room Attendants for the Manic-5 site

Employees are provided with meals and accommodation, including a private room and private bathroom. Washer and dryer facilities are also available.

ARAMARK offers a transportation allowance as well as highly competitive group insurance benefits.

Position: Room Attendant

Location: Manic-5

Hourly Wage: $21.59/hour, with annual increases based on union negotiations.

• Overtime is paid at time and a half.

Schedule: ARAMARK offers either a 4/3 or 7/7 work rotation.

Candidates must reside in the Baie-Comeau area or be able to travel to the Baie-Comeau airport.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including housekeeping, linen changes, and replenishment of supplies.


• Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, washrooms, lobbies, and other shared spaces.


• Welcome and assist guests, responding to requests and ensuring quality service.


• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs and standards.


• Be able to support operational requirements as needed.


• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality training or related experience is preferred.
  
  
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well organized.
  
  
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  
  
  • Positive attitude, honesty, and sound judgment.
  
  
  • Professional appearance and discretion.
  
  
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning products.
  
  
  • Good physical condition.
  
  
  • Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
  
  
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license is considered an asset.
  
  
  • The Room Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.
