Job Description - HR Administrator

We have the determination to unlock and deliver value where others cannot see it.OUR VALUESWe have Grit - We are Collaborative - We Care About People - We Keep It Real We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team!POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resources Administrator will be responsible to complete all administrative tasks for the Human Resources Team. This includes maintaining an accurate and efficient HR database with employee information and necessary documentation, including administering new starters, changes and leavers on the system. They will also deal with day-to-day HR queries and advise staff in line with Multiplex HR policies and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide timely assistance to team members regarding benefit and human resource questions and issues * Maintain employee files to ensure legal compliance * Prepare electronic offer packages including benefits, policies, and other employee related information * Coordinate new hire paperwork * Maintain Employee Documents in Workday and shared drive * Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and initiate onboarding for new hires in Workday * Assist with the creation of HR training guides, HR procedure documents and policy updates * Coordinate Annual Performance Management meetings * Assist with research on policies, training and other human resource issues * Assisting with additional projects, as assignedTalent Attraction Support * Assist with completion and distribution of Hiring Requisition Forms * Update job descriptions, as needed * Coordinate and set-up training classes or meetings * Post job descriptions in Springboard (applicant tracking system) * Schedule interviews for Talent Acquisition Specialist & Hiring Managers * Initiate background screenings for all prospective employees * Create employee profiles in Bridgit Bench (resource management app) EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE * Post-secondary degree or diploma from a recognized College or University * Certificate in Human Resources Management strongly preferred * 2+ years progressive experience in Human ResourcesRequired Skills * Working knowledge of Workday and an ATS highly desired * Working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, ESA 2000 * Working knowledge and keen interest in payroll administration * Working knowledge and keen interest in recruiting practices * Excellent organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills * Effective oral and written communication skills, personable and friendly * Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point * Proactive and able to work independently- a self-starter * Strong attention to accuracy and detail * Able to work at a fast pace with conflicting deadlines and changing priorities WORK ENVIRONMENT * May require some on-site visits to project locations with minimal possibility of exposure to hazardous materials * Fast paced, dynamic and innovative work environment * Sitting, standing, walking, bending, light lifting, climbing stairs * A team-oriented and progressive workplace that recognizes and rewards the “outside the box” approach * Dedicated to developing successful employees – We invest in our people and provide a wealth of career development opportunities across job functions Multiplex is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe and respectful; our shared success depends on it.
