We are seeking a junior candidate for an HR Assistant role located in Guelph, ON. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a dynamic HR team supporting various administrative tasks.
Must be able to work onsite (5 days/week) Monday-Friday. New HR grads are welcome to apply!

ResponsibilitiesAs an HR Assistant, you will be involved in various functions and responsibilities such as:
- Will be assisting with developing and drafting of health and safety, benefits legislative polices
- Find related legislative information to help update current company policies
- Revise and update the Employee Handbook
- Update the trackers and HR documentation as needed
- Manage effective inter-departmental and intra-departmental communication
- Administer and follow Health and Safety rules and regulations
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and other administrative tasks as needed
QualificationsThe knowledge that is considered an asset for the HR Assistant position is as follows:
- Previous experience in recruitment, payroll, and/or benefit administration an asset
- Good understanding knowledge of human resources principles, best practices, and applicable HR legislation
- Intermediate computer skills - will be using SharePoint, E2 Shoptech, MS Teams and Microsoft Office products is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and strong communication skills
- A self -starter, ability to be resourceful and proactive
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources (preferred)
