HR Assistant/Dispatch Clerk

POSTING Clerical HR Assistant/Dispatch Clerk School District 67 Okanagan Skaha invites applicants for the position of HR Assistant/Dispatch Clerk. This position provides support to the human resources department District Board Office. This position will be: 35 hours total per week at the Penticton School Board Office Wage is $28.29 per hour (as per the CUPE Collective Agreement) Initial hours of work are 7:00 am until 3:00 pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break (time to be determined) Start date: August 26, 2024 This is a 10-month position and days of work for this position include one week of work prior to school start- up in September. This position does not work Winter or Spring Break. Successful candidates are subject to the terms of the Criminal Review Act.Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 6 months post-secondary clerical training Completion of post secondary program, diploma or certificate in Business Administration, including courses in Human Resources Excellent clerical skills Typing speed 60 wpm Demonstrated ability to work independently Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Interested candidates are invited to apply by submitting a resume and Support Services Application form.
