Job Description - HR Coordinator

Job Description

Our client in the electronic manufacturing industry is looking for a dynamic HR Coordinator to join their team in the North York office. This is a contract opportunity that has potential for extension and a potential for a permanent opportunity! The ideal candidate will be able to work in a hybrid capacity with 4 days on site and 1 day from home, a minimum of 2 years of HR experience and knowledge of Dayforce. This role will be reporting into the Sr. HR Business Partner and has opportunities for professional growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full cycle recruitment
  • Facilitate the onboarding and orientation process
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives
  • Coordinate the performance management process with management
  • Review the time & attendance management system
  • Implement HR policies, practices and procedures
  • Help conduct employee engagement surveys and initiatives
  • Maintain employee HRIS database
  • Complete reporting, metrics and analysis
  • Assist with health and safety and compliance initiatives
  • Coordinate and manage the HR calendar
  • Complete HR administration tasks
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completion of a Post Secondary education in HR
  • A minimum of 2 years of HR experience
  • Familiarity with Performance Management, Employee Onboarding/Orientation, and Health & Safety
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment is required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration across the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Dayforce is a must!
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter is required
  • Thrive under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, general practices, and employment law
  • Commitment to data integrity and employee information confidentiality
