About the TeamHR Compliance and Governance focuses on various legal and external regulatory requirements for human resources, such as cross-border travel compliance, cooperation with employee representative bodies, and the setup of new hiring entities. Our main goals are to ensure the company complies with regional laws and regulations related to labor and employment during global business development, and to help the company solve compliance and governance issues related to "people and organization." This role will play a pivotal part in projects related to HR data, with a specific focus on ensuring TikTok complies with legal and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to advise management on decisions that impact external reporting and regulatory compliance. You will partner with functional stakeholders across the company to provide accurate and timely analysis to enable key management decisions and external compliance. You will work with APAC and North American colleagues on a day-to-day level and engage with stakeholders across the business globally. The role will also intersect with key HR initiatives in the Americas, offering significant opportunities for growth. 1. Understand business context deeply through research, interviews, data analysis, and other methods to understand and produce feasible recommendations and advisory aligned with HR management principles and external reporting requirements.2. Investigate and thoroughly understand client needs as a trusted advisor, offering tailored recommendations on the external usage of data.3. Collect, clean, and analyze HR data, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.4. Develop and optimize request processes and policies.5. Collaborate closely with inter-department stakeholders and cross-functional partners, such as legal, communications, public policy, tax, and data teams to ensure alignment and bring initiatives to completion.6. Support the development and planning of HR strategies through analysis and research; transform insights into operational initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:1. 3+ years experience in a top-tier consulting firm, enterprise, or internet company.2. Outstanding critical thinking and project management skills with a top-notch track record of effectively managing expectations across different time zones and cultures.3. Comfortable working under demanding deadlines and producing key executive deliverables; excellent written and oral communication skills.4. Excellent learning capabilities, sound business judgment, and a demonstrated, hypothesis-driven problem-solving orientation with an exceptional ability to create clarity; proven capacity to ascertain the nature of problems as well as the reasonings behind them.5. Strong comfort with ambiguity, and superb adaptability; be willing to work hard and efficiently in a fast-paced and diversified environment. Preferred Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in management, statistics, economics, data science, data analytics, human resource management, industrial psychology, organizational psychology, law, financial management, accounting, or a related field is preferred.2. Prior experience in a data role tied to people analytics, business analytics, law, or consulting background preferred.3. Profiency in languages other than English is preferred.
