HR Director

In anticipation of future needs Robert Half is currently seeking HR Directors throughout the Calgary region.

As an HR Director, your day-to-day responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and compliance
• Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection
• Develop and administer employee compensation and benefits programs
• Manage HR metrics and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and inform decision-making
• Ad hoc duties as requested

A successful HR Director will possess the following:

• 5+ years of experience in HR management
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• HR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of HR functions, including employment laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Available to start immediately
