Responsibilities

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including:

• Full Cycle Recruitment: Managing the entire recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
• Onboarding New Employees: Ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into the company.
• Union Support: Handling union-related issues such as grievances, reports, and contract interpretation.
• HR Best Practices: Advising department managers on best HR practices and compliance.
• Payroll Processing: Managing payroll using Dayforce HRIS.
• HR Strategy: Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with company goals.
• HR Documentation: Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and procedures.
• Special Projects: Leading and contributing to various HR-related projects.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of HR experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Dayforce HRIS.
• Union Experience: Previous experience working with unions is essential.
• Personal Attributes: Demonstrates a positive attitude, go-getter personality, and entrepreneurial spirit.
