THE ROLE
:We are partnering with a reputable Canadian law firm located in Chilliwack, BC. Currently, we are looking to add an additional member to their Human Resources team as they have a need for a Human Resources Manager
Our client is a full-service law firm, providing legal services to the Fraser Valley. They have offices in Chilliwack, Langley, and Abbotsford.
They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to support the firm's full scope of Human Resources responsibilities including payroll and benefits. This is an on-site role, which, while being based in Chilliwack, requires a weekly physical presence in all three of our offices.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent work experience
· Minimum 5 years of experience in HR and administration management, preferably in a law firm environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and project management skills
· Knowledge of employment/labour standards, HR practices, regulations and best practices
· The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with management and employees
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent computer skills (MS Office, HR systems,
· Experience with recruitment, performance management, benefits and compensation, and employee relations
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
