Job Summary: HR and Payroll System Integration

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to assist with the implementation of a new integrated HR, Payroll, and Time and Attendance system.

In this role, you will learn how policies drive employee compensation and how to set up systems to manage pay, time, and attendance efficiently. You will also get exposure to working on a change management and communication program as we prepare to roll out the new system to our team members.

Some of the specific tasks you will work on include:

  • Providing administrative support for the director-HR
  • Participating in the development of training on the new systems and co-facilitating the training for leaders and team members.
  • Documenting standard operating procedures 
  • Providing a variety of support to the Payroll Specialist, such as assisting with processing a weekly payroll 
  • Who are we looking for?  

    A post-secondary student enrolled in a program eligible for a 4-month Co-Op Work Term.

    This position typically interests someone studying Human Resources, Management, Accounting (Payroll), or a similar field.

    The ideal candidate will possess :

  • Excellent interpersonal
  • Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – experience with Oracle HCM, ADP’s Workforce Manager, or ADP’s Workforce Now an asset.
  • An ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all written and verbal communications. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
