Job Description - HRIS Coordinator

HRIS Coordinator


The HRIS Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and usefulness of employee data within UKG. This role is ideal for someone who is already highly proficient technically, especially in excel, and is eager to continue to grow their career within People and Culture.

The HRIS Coordinator ensures the accuracy, integrity, and usefulness of employee data within UKG, which is essential for informed decision‑making and smooth P&C operations. By maintaining high quality data and providing strong analytical support, this role strengthens P&C workflows and contributes to an efficient, well supported employee experience, directly impacting how we operate and support our teams.


Key Impact / Purpose



  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usefulness of employee data in UKG, enabling informed decision making and smooth P&C operations.

  • Strengthen P&C workflows by maintaining high quality data and providing reliable analytical support across the People & Culture function.

  • Contribute directly to an efficient, well supported employee experience by supporting system functionality and enhancing process effectiveness.


Duties and Responsibilities: 



  • Maintain and manage employee data entries within our HRIS system, UKG

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates within the HRIS

  • Pull, analyze, and interpret HR data to support reporting, audits, and business insights

  • Partner with Total Rewards team members to streamline processes, improve workflows, and support operations

  • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity across all systems

  • Provide subject matter support on system functionality and assist with troubleshooting and process enhancements


Must haves:  



  • Advanced excel skills including strong capability to pull reports and extrapolate data

  • Solid experience working within HRIS systems, ideally with UKG, requiring minimal technical training

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinking

  • Ability to work independently with sound judgment while collaborating effectively with colleagues

  • Comfort managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment


Nice to haves:



  • Previous HR experience or exposure to HR processes, with a desire to grow and be mentored into broader HR responsibilities

  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or configuration changes

  • Knowledge of HR compliance, reporting standards, or payroll fundamentals

  • Interest in continuous improvement and finding opportunities to optimize HR system use


This is a new position. Expected annual compensation; $55,000 - $65,000
