Human Resources Assistant

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to provide basic Human Resource technical and general administrative support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Support management, employees, and external vendors regarding company policies and workplace procedures.


• Support benefit administration through maintaining employee information and HR records, building benefits booklets, issuing benefits cards, and determining employees’ benefit eligibility


• Support recruitment by drafting and publishing job postings on the company job board, and other job sites, as well as screening, shortlisting, and coordinating candidate applications


• Prepare letters regarding employee status changes, verifications of employment, and drafts offer letters, contract renewal letters, and promotion letters for current employees


• Generate HR reports and consolidate employee data as requested by management


• Respond to general employee inquiries and concerns of employee access to their HRIS accounts. 

Qualifications:

• Ability to act with a high level of maturity, integrity and confidentiality


• Attention to detail and time management skills


• HR Management Certificate/Diploma


• 2-5 years office administration experience


• Experience in administration, employee relations, and coordination of employee activities is preferred


• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of programs 


• Experience with using UKG or other Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) data management is a strong asset
