On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Program Manager with expertise in business and technical program design, delivery, operations, and large-scale transformation in the health space.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and support conformance efforts to deliver conformance testing compliance for respective projects, leveraging hands-on experience with digital health conformance requirements, processes and compliance.
• Develop and maintain robust relationships with external stakeholders to proactively identify stakeholder need, facilitate stakeholder engagement meetings/workshops/collaboratives, and act as a liaison between internal and external project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery team to align on conformance scope and ensure a frictionless experience.
• Support planning and delivery of interoperability technical events, including coordination of internal and external project teams to drive successful events.
• Lead, manage and monitor performance of assigned projects to deliver expected outcomes.
• Oversee and manage assigned project(s), project managers and/or other implementation resources.
• Design, implement and leverage program lifecycle management processes and tools to ensure initiatives/projects progress is tracked against delivery on time, within scope and budget, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Foster collaboration and coordination among project teams and external stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Implement effective collaboration processes to assist teams in facilitating project delivery, identifying risks, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Support the definition of internal key performance indicators and metrics to assess overall Program performance.
• Support and contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture within the team.
• Provide program management support to Strategy and Program Management leaders (strategy, business planning and delivery).
• Support maturation of Program processes and capabilities.
• Identify gaps and inefficiencies across the Program to develop and implement measures and solutions, driving greater productivity and alignment to best practices.
• Assess and analyze change management needs for assigned projects/programs
• Contribute to stakeholder impact matrices and corresponding strategies and communications plans
• Support the development and implementation action plan to deliver projects/programs results
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of project management experience
• 4+ years as a program manager/program director/project director/portfolio manager
• 4+ years of experience consulting on projects for Canadian public sector healthcare organizations
• Experience managing data interoperability/integration projects between several disparate, distinct Clinical Systems
