IMS Cobol Designer

• Analyze and review the requirement and provide high level & low-level design specifications for in scope systems. Hands on detailed design and development skills in mainframe-based technologies

• Collaborate with Architect and Business Analyst teams to derive appropriate technical solution adhering to the TD standards

• Develop and Unit Test the assigned code components ensuring compatibility with the interfacing code / application.

• Support System Integration and Business Acceptance Testing for any defect resolution and batch job execution as per the testing requirements.

• Provide Technical SME Support for various phases of assigned initiatives (including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Deployment and Warranty).

• Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest

• Participate in knowledge transfer within the team
