About Penta At Penta Equipment, we build equipment that works as hard as the people who use it. For more than 25 years, we’ve manufactured TMR mixers, spreaders, and dump boxes designed for the realities of agriculture and heavy-duty work.
With operations in both Glencoe and Thamesville, our team takes pride in practical problem-solving, accountability, teamwork, and building quality equipment that lasts. Components and parts are manufactured in Glencoe and shipped to Thamesville for final assembly, finishing, and shipping.
We’re looking for people who want to contribute in a hands-on manufacturing environment where quality, consistency, and teamwork matter.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blast, Body & Paint Tech to join our Finishing Team in Thamesville. This role supports all stages of the finishing process — including blasting, body work, priming, and top coating — to deliver high-quality finishes on agricultural equipment and components.
This is a hands-on role within a highly collaborative finishing team where flexibility, communication, and attention to detail are essential. The successful candidate will rotate between blasting, repair, and coating operations based on production priorities while helping maintain consistent finish quality and steady production flow.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform blasting and surface preparation to achieve proper profile, cleanliness, and coating readiness
Complete body work and surface repair, including sanding, filling, and finishing to meet quality standards
Apply primer and topcoat finishes according to specifications while maintaining consistent coverage, film build, and appearance
Inspect work throughout the finishing process to verify coating quality and surface condition, correcting or escalating issues as required
Operate and support paint system equipment, including pumps, catalyst systems, and related coating equipment
Maintain coating materials and ensure the paint area remains organized, stocked, and production-ready
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area while following all environmental, safety, PPE, and housekeeping procedures
Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to balance workloads and maintain production flow through blasting, body, and paint operations
What We’re Looking For
Experience in industrial, automotive, or manufacturing painting and finishing environments
Familiarity with blasting, surface preparation, coating systems, and spray equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment
Flexibility and willingness to support multiple stages of the finishing process as production needs shift
Strong awareness of workplace safety and housekeeping standards
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
Why Join Penta?
We are a stable, growing Ontario manufacturer with over 25 years in business
We offer a hands-on, team-oriented manufacturing environment
You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the finishing process and continue developing your skills
We offer competitive compensation and consistent full-time work
You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in building durable, high-quality equipment
