Webuild has won a new contract to deliver the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations section of the Ontario Line (Pape North Connect)

This position is a full-time 100% onsite position at our downtown office.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Information Digital Delivery Director for the Ontario Line Project, you will assume a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the digital delivery of project information and data management. You will ensure the seamless integration and management of digital tools, processes, and technologies to enhance project efficiency, collaboration, and data accuracy. Your role will involve leading a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with various stakeholders, and driving the strategic vision for digital delivery across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the digital delivery of project information, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and industry best practices.
• Oversee the development and implementation of digital tools, processes, and technologies to support project planning, execution, and data management.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of digital delivery specialists, data managers, BIM coordinators, and IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Develop and enforce digital delivery standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and security of project data.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate digital delivery solutions into project workflows and decision-making processes.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital delivery systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual requirements related to digital delivery and data management.
• Drive the adoption of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and other digital tools to enhance project visualization, coordination, and reporting.
• Provide training, support, and mentorship to project teams on digital delivery best practices and tool utilization.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure the effective deployment and integration of digital solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital delivery, incorporating innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
• Prepare and present reports, updates, and strategic recommendations to senior management and project stakeholders on digital delivery progress and initiatives.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in digital delivery, information management, or related roles within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing digital delivery systems and processes in large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of digital tools and technologies, including BIM, GIS, data management platforms, and project management software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve measurable improvements in project efficiency and data accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities.
• Certification in relevant digital delivery or project management disciplines (e.g., PMP, BIM certification) is highly desirable.
