Job Description - Infrastructure and Operations Lead

 


Hiring preference will be provided to those who identify as Yukon First Nation or Indigenous. 



Based in Whitehorse, Yukon, on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council, the First Nation School Board (FNSB) was established in February 2022. Board run schools are for all Yukon students and aim to promote reconciliation by enhancing a Yukon First Nations model that puts the students first, through a strengths-based, community-centered approach. Our work reflects Yukon First Nations values.

Based in Whitehorse, the Infrastructure and Operations Lead is a key leader within the First Nation School Board, ensuring that our schools and programs are supported by strong, responsive, and community-aligned operational systems. From managing facilities and equipment to overseeing technology, safety protocols, and administrative processes, this role helps create the conditions that allow students, staff, and communities to thrive. Working alongside a dedicated team and in partnership with school leaders, this position plays a central role in sustaining day-to-day operations across diverse and dynamic learning environments.
