Job Description - Inside Sales Manager

We are looking for a confident, “hands on” proven, high performing Sales Manager. You will be part of a department which is responsible for the generation of demonstrations (and upsell opportunities) for our digital services. This is a critical role for the business to sustain and build on its success in Canada. The product itself being new to my client and will see you offering ideas and feedback to the Sales Director of ways to improve performance and sales conversion.

The ideal candidate will have a background in managing an outbound telephone-based Sales Team, driving quality and sales performance in a targeted and dynamic environment. You should not be afraid to challenge the team and should be a confident decision maker. Experience of working in a B2B environment is desirable. A pro-active approach to management, coaching, pipeline & campaign planning and driving sales revenue are a must!

Role Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a high-performing telesales team, managing outbound sales activities, and optimizing sales performance in a dynamic environment. This role reports directly to the Sales Director and requires a hands-on approach to drive sales revenue and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Recruit, train, coach, and manage a telesales team of up to 15 individuals.
* Develop and manage the CRM system to optimize data and leads.
* Provide regular sales figures and management information.
* Drive activity, performance, and KPIs by actively engaging with the sales floor.
* Analyze sales data to identify and maximize opportunities.
* Manage campaigns to drive sales results.
* Continuously monitor leads, conversions, and sales to improve performance.
* Introduce incentives to motivate and drive team performance.

Requirements:

* Proven track record of managing a telephone-based sales department.
* Ability to build, manage, and drive sales performance in a targeted environment.
* Strong influencing skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
* Consultative sales approach with a focus on customer needs.
* Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
