Inside Wholesaler/Sales Support Insurance (12 month Contract)

What is the Opportunity?

We are looking for an Internal Sales Consultant to join our high level Sales Team! 
If you are an individual who is highly motivated, goal orientated and a team player, this could be the perfect role for you.  This is a fast paced sales role where you will grow your knowledge around insurance and help Canadians to protect themselves when it's most needed! 

What will you do?

• Partner with Sales Consultant to establish a strategic business plan for the territory with defined sales targets
• Proactively contact insurance advisors to gain information and insight into their practices
• Establish relationships with marketing staff of key producers/MGAs.
• Provide insight and sales ideas related to the insurance industry, product knowledge & system training (BIC, Illustrations, etc.) 
• Position RBC Insurance products & solutions to prospects & existing clients – as well as identifying cross selling opportunities
• Advance the sale process with new prospects by booking presentations and meetings for the Sales Consultants
• Some sales support tasks such as running reports & helping to settle business
• Maintain contact management system and develop follow-up strategy for newly contracted brokers, thank-you for large cases, etc.

Must have

• Strong Living Benefits product knowledge
• Understanding of competitive landscape and marketplace
• Life Insurance License, LLQP (mandatory required within first 3 months of role). Strong preference is to be currently licensed
• Post-secondary education
• Excellent organizational skills – able to respond to inquiries, suggestions, complaints and requests in a timely, courteous & professional manner.
• Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal in English
• Driver’s license and vehicle mandatory

The expected salary range for this particular position is $50,000 - $85,000 -- depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s robust discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
