We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Installers specializing in Aluminum Guardrails to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction and installation, particularly in the installation of aluminum guardrail systems for commercial and residential projects. As an Installer at New City Contracting, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation and completion of our building envelope solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Install aluminum guardrail systems according to project specifications, blueprints, and design drawings


• Measure and cut aluminum materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment during installation


• Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure guardrail components to structures and supports


• Collaborate with project managers, welders, fabricators, and other trades to coordinate installation activities and meet project deadlines


• Inspect installed guardrails for quality and structural integrity, making adjustments and repairs as needed


• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and installation equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Installer specializing in aluminum guardrails or similar construction and installation work


• Knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials, with a focus on aluminum guardrail systems


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and technical specifications


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy


• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions


• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
