The Integrated Marketing Specialist is responsible for the management of integrated marketing campaigns in support of the Interac brand and products, helping to drive consistent creative expression and messaging strategies to priority audiences. The role supports always-on digital and paid social media marketing, and contributes to the planning and execution of content within the Interac digital channel eco-system, working with our agency partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing integrated marketing campaigns that have meaningful and measurable impact, achieving marketing and strategic goals, and realizing brand, channel, and product KPIs.

  • Managing the delivery of the always-on digital and paid social media marketing workstream.

  • Helping to execute Interac’s creative strategy to support consistent creative brand expression within campaigns and across MarComm programming.

  • Building, evolving, and refining our digital audiences and media strategies, alongside key agency partners, to ensure effective and efficient campaign delivery and accurate audience targeting.

  • Contributing to marketing briefs that inform campaigns, leveraging market, business, audience and channel data and insights to inform strategy and messaging. Ensure that campaigns and always on workstreams have measurement plans that reflect delivery against objectives and utilize both internal and external data to inform KPIs.

  • Working closely with product marketing leads to deliver both dedicated product marketing campaigns and ensuring product support in integrated marketing campaigns. Work with data teams and product leads for attribution of transaction growth into campaign measurement plans.

  • Supporting the community management of our social media channels (or any digital platform where users can comment and engage with content publicly), working closely with communications and our agency partners on response guides and plans, utilizing our reactive and proactive strategy to maximize engagement and minimize risks.

  • Supporting content planning and execution for Interac.ca and our social media channels, ensuring alignment with integrated marketing activities and to the overall brand and creative strategy. Create occasional organic social media content as required as an extension of integrated marketing work.

  • Working with internal stakeholders across Interac on an ongoing basis (including legal, finance, HR and D&I teams, as well as our strategy, innovation, and MarComm colleagues), and act as a subject-matter-expert to support their business objectives and priorities, while building excellent relationships across the organization and demonstrating strong collaboration skills.

  • Contributing to performance reporting across campaign activities and digital channels on an ongoing basis, helping to build and refine quarterly MarComm reports.

  • Contributing to budget management and planning to ensure integrated marketing campaigns, always on marketing, and digital channel work is tracked and allocated to appropriate budgets.

  • You bring:

  • 3-4 years of professional marketing experience, either directly with a brand or with an advertising or marketing agency, including experience in managing integrated campaigns of varying scale

  • Professional experience with digital platforms, social media channels, content marketing and influencer marketing, with a keen understanding of best practices and innovation

  • Expertise in digital analytics and measurement across marketing channels, including producing reports that highlight KPIs and distill results; experience with GA4 is a plus

  • Ability to create digital and social media content, including experience working with platforms such as Canva, Photoshop, and Adobe Premier (or similar content creation programs) and in-platform organic social media content creation

  • Experience with managing agency relationships, including tracking and managing related budgets and facilitating feedback

  • Excellent time-management and planning skills, with an ability to meet deadlines and manage workback schedules across multiple projects

  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to distill results and insights into key take-aways and action items

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate leadership within the workplace as a digital content expert

  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity
