We are seeking a full-time Intermediate / Senior Civil Technician / Technologist in our Fredericton office.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Educational & Experience Requirements:

·         Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.

·         Experience as a Civil Technician or Technologist.

·         Project management experience, civil design, and field inspection will be considered assets.

·         PTech. or CET certification or ability to become certified will be considered an asset.

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D will be considered assets.

·         Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·         Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

·         Aptitude for independent work.

Main Duties:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:

·         Develop project objectives, schedules, and budgets, then monitor progress against established plans.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities and deliverables.

·         Perform field inspections to assess project sites, identify potential issues, ensure project compliance with plans and specifications,                              and write inspection reports.

·         Collaborate with clients to understand their project needs and expectations.

·         Communicate project updates, milestones, and potential issues to clients in a clear and professional manner.

·         Adhering to all company policies.

·         Other duties as required.

Position:

·         Full time (37.5 hours per week)

·         Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

·         The successful candidate will be located in Fredericton, New Brunswick

·         Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.

·         Salary Range $37,000 - $51,000

·         Retirement savings plan with employer match.

·         Paid time off and holidays.
