Intermediate / Senior Field Technician (25056)

Are you an experienced Intermediate / Senior Field Technician looking to progress your career? We're looking for an Intermediate / Senior Field Technician to join our growing team. We are open to filling this position in our Petawawa office.

A typical day on the job might look like: 

• Getting your hands dirty testing aggregates, soil, and concrete in our lab


• Heading out to sites to collect and test samples of soils, concrete, and asphalt


• Making sure compaction is on-point for subgrade soils, aggregates, and asphalt


• Inspecting subgrades and foundations to ensure they're built right


• Taking charge of drill rig operations and keeping things running smoothly


• Jumping between office, lab, and field for various materials testing tasks


• Tackling other related duties when needed

Your background and what you bring:  

• College Diploma in civil technology (or similar field) is helpful – whether you're enrolled now or recently finished


• 5+ years experience with materials testing and inspection gives you an edge


• Background in civil construction work is valuable 


• You'll need a valid driver's license and your own vehicle to get to job sites


• You can document field observations and effectively discuss project details with the team.
