Your Role

As a Camp Buddy, you'll play a crucial role in helping international students improve their English skills and learn about Canadian culture and lifestyle during their stay at QMS's English Language Development Camp. You'll work with the camp staff to help campers with their language skills and join in on all the fun activities. You’ll go on trips and excursions with the campers, support them, and make sure they have an amazing time. It's a great way to make new friends, learn about other countries, and gain valuable skills that will help you in the future!

Your Impact

As a Camp Buddy, you’ll help your peers improve their English and learn about Canada. You’ll be there to support them, guide them through activities, and encourage them to try new things. You’ll also get to learn about different cultures while making new friends. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a role model, and your support will make a big difference in the campers’ experience. You’ll have fun, learn new things, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

You don’t need to have experience, but it’s important to be kind, helpful, and a good communicator. Being a good team player will make sure you and the campers have an amazing time.
