Salary:                                      $38.45 - $45.92/HR – 35 Hours per Week


Location:                                 Naughton, ON

POSITION SCOPE:


The Waasakwa Early Learning Centre Manager is responsible for the overall direction and effective administration of the Early Learning Centre. The Manager works within legislative requirements, regulations, policies and procedures and the Mission, Beliefs and Vision of the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek and contributes to the accomplishment of the strategic priorities.


 


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


 



  • Registered with the College of ECEs in good standing (RECE). Management ECE Certificate considered an asset

  • Early Childhood Education Diploma from a recognized college or university.

  • An asset to have Early Childhood Management Certificate

  • Required three years’ related experience in a similar setting as Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor


 


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Oversee the implementation of the Child Care Centre’s operational plan based on the respected Procedures And policies under the Early-on Child Care Licensing.

  • Plan for and direct ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of effective, efficient, and high-quality Child Care services and programs.

  • Develop, monitor and maintain the annual operating budget based on policies, procedures, and guidelines • Utilize funding and authorize expenditures for purchase of equipment, supplies or service in accordance with approved budget and financial policies and procedures
