Position

Inventory Analyst, Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure 

Reporting to the Inventory Management Specialist, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities 

•    Review and validate new material master data—including descriptions, classifications, and units of measure—in alignment with company naming conventions and duplicate control protocols.
•    Monitor and adjust Min/Max inventory levels by collaborating with planners and end-users to generate purchase requisitions, ensure availability of critical spares, and refine stock parameters based on usage trends, demand forecasts, and lead times.
•    Maintain inventory accuracy and optimize warehouse space through regular bin inspections, proper labeling, elimination of duplicates, processing of returns, and review of inactive stock.
•    Support data integrity by managing item photographs, executing SAP transactions, and preparing scheduled and ad hoc inventory reports for analysis and review.
•    Collaborate with warehouse teams across sites to standardize inventory practices, contribute to staff training, and uphold established policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Desired Competencies and Requirements 

•    Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse or inventory experience in mining, industrial, or heavy industry.
•    Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent as deemed by the Company; or a Parts/Materials Technician journeyperson certification.
•    APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) would be considered an asset.
•    Proficiency in SAP Materials Management and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $130,910.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $47.50 and overtime rate of $71.25) in a work year.
