We are seeking a detail -oriented Inventory Analyst to join our McKenzie Brandon team. As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting with inventory forecasting, planning, configuring new codes, add standards, descriptions and providing recommendation to improve inventory process and procedures. This position is in Brandon and reports to the Plant Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) in the company's operating system for the Brandon Facility as well as at 3 rd party locations.
• Procuring seed samples from vendors and act as a backup to communicate with the outside testing agencies
• Performing Inventory Analysis and managing the inventory items. Procuring quotes for LTL shipments out of the Brandon facility and coordinate with the logistics manager.
• Participate in projects/analysis to optimize inventory processes and controls and identify opportunities to reduce the shrinks or costs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 2+ years of experience in inventory management in a retail or related field
• Must have strong Excel skills with a commitment to learn the onsite operating system (SAGE)
• Must have well rounded communications skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team setting.
