The Opportunity
The District of Sparwood is seeking a customer-focused, technically skilled, and service-oriented Information Technology Support Technician to join its Corporate Services team.
Reporting to the IT Operations Lead, the Information Technology Support Technician provides front-line technical support and operational assistance for the District's information technology systems, infrastructure, and business applications. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day technology services for staff, Council, and municipal facilities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting users, maintaining hardware and software, assisting with cybersecurity initiatives, participating in technology projects, and helping deliver exceptional IT service across the organization.
