Honorarium Position

Overview

The Jackets Co-Directors shall assist the Services Commissioner and shall adhere to and follow official ASUS policy as outlined in the manual and as interpreted by Council and the Assembly. The Jackets Director is responsible for the Services Commissioner. A large focus of the Deputy Services Commissioner will be to alert all Queen’s students, particularly those of Arts and Science, of all relations regarding jackets through ASUS. More so, the Jacket Director must work alongside the Services Commissioner to effectively structure the production and sales of the jackets. The Jackets Director shall strive to increase the prominence of Queen's jackets through advertising and promotions.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Hours: 8-10 hours per week

Honorarium: Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy (Click here)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet weekly with the Services Commissioner to provide updates and plan marketing initiatives for Jackets.
• Develop and manage the Services marketing budget in collaboration with the Services Commissioner and Vice-President of Operations.
• Create and execute short-term marketing initiatives while contributing to long-term branding goals.
• Oversee Jackets promotion, including advertising order deadlines and assisting in planning one promotional event per semester.
• Hold at least three (3) office hours per week to support marketing efforts and coordinate with key stakeholders.
