The WestRock Mississauga Folding (labels) facility is looking for a  Journeyman to work with the Bindery team on the afternoon shift. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

How you will impact WestRock:

On a daily basis, cross reference completed, jogged or printed jobs and share updated copy with the Cutter team.

Work closely with the Customer Service department to resolve any order issues.

Audit ready to go orders.

Prepare orders with shipment dates and sales order numbers and label boxes for Shipping department.

Work with Finance team to close out outstanding Work in Progress (WIP)

Perform all related duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

Experience working with Microsoft Office (ie. Outlook, Excel, etc.) considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.

Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.

Must be able to maintain good attendance.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Friday: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
