Journeyperson Plumber

About the Role

DNM is seeking a licensed Plumbing Journeyperson (306A) to join our Service & Installation team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, technically skilled, and comfortable working independently while supporting apprentices on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and service plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and venting


• Install and repair fixtures, water heaters, and sump pumps


• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and complete repairs efficiently


• Read and interpret drawings and specifications


• Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Building Code and applicable standards


• Mentor and support plumbing apprentices


• Communicate professionally with customers and team members


• Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

• Valid 306A Plumbing Certificate of Qualification


• Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience


• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems


• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively


• Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License with clean abstract


• Working at Heights, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications


• Clean criminal record check

Assets: Backflow Prevention / Cross-Connection Control, Gas Technician (G3 or G2)
