We are currently seeking a Jr Business Analyst to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

As a Junior Business Analyst within our Knowledge Management and Communications Team, you will leverage your experience with the Big 4 consulting firms (KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC) to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information. Your mission is to produce executive-level reports, business cases, case studies, and presentations that drive strategic decisions and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in translating complex concepts into clear, impactful communications, utilizing both data visualization and graphic design principles to deliver compelling business cases, case studies, presentations, and reports. In your role, you will have the chance to influence strategic decisions and drive innovation through your research, analysis, and presentations.

What you’ll do day-to-day –

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to support business initiatives and strategy development.
• Synthesize complex data into actionable insights, producing clear and compelling reports, business cases, case studies, and presentations for executive leadership.
• Create compelling presentations using PowerPoint, combining data analytics and graphic design principles to effectively communicate complex information:
  • Proficient use of PowerPoint to design engaging and visually appealing slides.
  • Ability to blend data visualization tools with graphic design principles for clear and memorable presentations.
  • Skilled in storytelling through presentations, employing charts, graphs, and infographics to narrate insightful and impactful data-driven stories.
  • Deep understanding of PowerPoint's features to enhance clarity, engagement, and persuasion in presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, IT, or related fields.
• 3-4 years of experience in a consulting role, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked with the Big 4 consulting firms (KPMG, Deloitte, E&Y, PwC).
• Demonstrated expertise in researching, analyzing, and synthesizing complex information into high-quality, executive-level reports, business cases, and presentations.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques, with a strong command of PowerPoint and an ability to integrate data and graphic design principles.
• A keen interest in the IT sector, especially in healthcare and public sectors.
• Based in BC, preferably the Lower Mainland

• Ability to blend data analytics and graphic design principles to create engaging presentations.
• Strong analytical skills with a talent for identifying, analyzing, and synthesizing complex information.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, for crafting presentations that combine data analytics with compelling visual storytelling.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Motivated, self-starter attitude with a passion for continuous learning and staying informed about sector developments.
• Adept at working collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
