What We’re Looking For:

• Ability to work overtime when required


• Valid Class 3 licence (air endorsement required)


• Roll-off or similar commercial driving experience is an asset


• Strong attention to safety and detail


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work


• A team player with a strong work ethic and a great attitude


• Previous experience in farming or food processing, forklift operation, WHMIS, Food Safe, and First Aid are all assets but not required – we’re happy to train the right person!

What You Will Be Doing:

Position Summary

The Roll Off Truck Driver is responsible for the safe operation of a bin truck and related equipment to support barn cleanouts, manure hauling, and farm operations. This role requires regular operation of heavy vehicles and equipment in outdoor farm environments and adherence to all safety and compliance requirements.

Primary Responsibilities – General

• Complete detailed daily driving pre- and post-trip logs


• Wash, grease, detail, and fuel the truck on a regular basis


• Prepare barn equipment for cleanout when required


• Load and haul manure to the designated storage pad


• Coordinate with farm managers to schedule barn cleaning


• Maintain clean and orderly work areas around barns during cleanouts


• Operate skid steer or telehandler to load manure


• Transport equipment between farms as required


• Transport equipment to dealers for repairs and maintenance


• Pick up yard materials as needed (e.g., gravel, topsoil)


• Haul garbage, cardboard recycling, and pallets as required


• Manage bins and coordinate bin repairs with the Maintenance department when necessary

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide backup coverage for delivery driving or live haul driving as required


• Grease, wash, and complete pre-trip checks on farm equipment


• Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the role and operational needs

Safety and Compliance

• Operate all vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policies, safety procedures, and WorkSafeBC requirements


• Report equipment issues, hazards, and incidents promptly


• Maintain required licences and certifications for vehicle and equipment operation

Physical and Working Conditions

• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, climbing, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy equipment


• Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, farm environments, and agricultural materials


• Ability to work safely around livestock facilities and heavy machinery

Provide support to other staff as required.
